Such a shame, this was a cute, little place and food would of been good if the air conditioning unit didn't ruin it by making it cold 2 min after I got it. Ridiculous!!! 1 wall unit across from our table, it wasn't on when we sat or I would not of stayed there, only came on before our food came. Very unprofessional having it at that location and no deflector for air. Not impressed Spankys😠. Don't like to freeze while dining.

Best breakfast in the Poconos. Affordable. Super friendly staff. Be sure to pick up a t-shirt or a mug while you're here, because they're awesome!

My first trip there was today. I met my sister and nephew for French toast 😁 it was totally worth the 2 hour drive! The server was amazingly friendly and on point. The food was fast, hot, and delicious!! Friendly staff, family friendly eatery!! Will definitely be back!!

Pretty reasonable breakfast food. Nothing really stood out from the meal but it was not bad and the price was decent. Will eat there again in the future most likely.

Spanky's is the perfect place to get a great breakfast or lunch. Everybody's friendly. The food is exactly what you might expect - good American fare. We always come here for breakfast when passing through. There are hundreds of license plates adorning the walls, or a counter if you don't want a booth.

Love this family run business! Have seen young boys who are now men still helping Mom, Roz, and her parents. Everyone so friendly and the food is good too!!

A small and cozy place with a friendly staff. They have a pretty good american breakfast menu. The server was very helpful and suggested us to an tasty brunch.

The staff is friendly and the food is good.

We came to the restaurant as visitors with someone who lives here. We were getting a group picture with the 6 of us when Ron (the owner) came running out of the restaurant and said “Here let me take that”. She seated us and was really fun to have as a waitress. There were specials and regular breakfasts. The food was excellent and came out quickly. We felt like we were being treated like royalty. We were never rushed and felt like we were part of the family. Don’t miss this restaurant for breakfast or lunch!

6 STARS for this place. Food, service a view of the past, perfect atmosphere EXCELLENT. THIS is a place to soothe the start of your day. Over 40 years in GREENTOWN PA just off I -84 and on top of the yelloe-caution lights in the center of town. It's a must see and experience kind of place.

Love the little place in town. License plates from all over the world dress the entire place. Food is excellent, food is filling. Prices are a little pricey for a small plate. We've eaten there a few times, and I will Be back next weekend..

Good soup and burgers, in country atmosphere, nice service. A good stop on the road.

German style restaurant they have a good variety of good food and the waitress was very pleasant the apple pie was exquisite there's a bunch of license plates on the wall most from the US but they had a few exotic ones like a Nepalise plate very cool

As the sometimes crowded conditions attest, consistently good, though definitely not great food. Service is always great, prices are very fair. Bathrooms are below average, decor is interesting with license plates from around the world hanging on 5he walls. Nice mixture of tourists and locals during the warmer seasons.

Great family/country atmosphere. I ordered a BBQ Burger and it was really good. A staple of Newfoundland.

My in laws have a house near this restaurant and we went there for breakfast and again lunch because it was so good. We’ve tried many places but this one was by far the best. Staff is really friendly, food is great and it’s very clean. I highly recommend this restaurant

It's the greatest breakfast and lunch restaurant in America. Simple fact.

Ordered SOS and home fries. Brutal. Patotes were undercooked. That was all for 8.95. Western omelet you could not see anything in it. It looked like a slice of bread flattened. Now all this cost 20 bucks with 2 cups of coffee. I would never eat there again. Waitress was great. Food is horrible.

Family owned and operated. Great food and price. Employees have great homey attitude. Looking forward to visiting again... Soon
